A Chest X-Ray (CXR), or chest radiograph, is a diagnostic imaging procedure used to examine the inside of the chest, espescially the lungs and rib cage. Heart conditions are also commonly investigated, although usually in combination with other invesigations such as an ECG and echocardiogram, which provide a better standard of diagnosis.
